Ice Cream

We are still using the same production methods and recipe that we've used since Henry Mauel, Sr. started making ice cream. We offer a premium product that is made in small batches. We start by using natural * cream and natural milk. We add other natural ingredients, like sugar and egg yolks to our mix. We then pasteurize the mix to ensure that all bacteria are eliminated. We follow this up by homogenizing the mix to guarantee your ice cream has a smooth taste. The flavors listed on the right can be purchased in a variety of sizes. 2 1/2 gallons, 1 gallon, 1/2 gallon and pint containers are all available. You can find our ice cream in Central Wisconsin and stores, restaurants, at special events and our dairy store. We accept special orders. For a special order allow a minimum of one week lead time. * The family farmers who supply our milk and cream and pledge not to treat their cows with recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH). The FDA has said no significant difference has been shown and no test can now distinguish between milk from rBGH treated and untreated cows. Not all of our suppliers can promise the milk they use comes from untreated cows.
